FAQ

Where are you located?

In a suburb called Crestwood at the following address:

6 Hearthstone Drive
Reading, PA 19606

When do you see clients?

Monday through Friday 10am-6pm.

How long is a session?

The initial session is 90 minutes. Subsequent sessions are 60 minutes.

How do I make an appointment?

Phone me at (610) 509-7610.

What if I can’t make my appointment?

Contact me as soon as possible to avoid a cancellation fee.

Is your office comfortable?

Your comfort is very important to me.

You can enter my office through an enclosed garage, which is very handy in bad weather. The garage also has a ramp with a railing.

During hypnosis you sit in a leather recliner (clients remark how comfortable it is) unless you have a physical issue. Clients with back issues sometimes choose to lie on the sofa or on the floor with pillows.

Can I bring my pet?

I’ve never hypnotized a pet; but in the past, my pets have no doubt hypnotized me!

Unless you absolutely need to, as in Seeing Eye dogs, please leave your wonderful furry friends at home. I consider my office pet-friendly, but the main reason pets should not accompany you to a session is that they can be quite distracting to both you and me!

Do you see children?

Adults are my specialty, although I have seen children ages 5 to 13. Issues with children can also be handled with only a photograph (see Angel Hypnotherapy for Children page).

Do you do group hypnosis?

Group sessions are offered for weight loss.

Is hypnosis magic?

No, but it may seem so. Hypnosis works quickly if the client is ready… and does assigned homework.

You assign homework?

Clients may receive a recording or a handout with techniques and are expected to use them. It’s called adding data to the subconscious to make your new pathway.

What’s a session like?

Our first meeting is focused on what you want to accomplish. We talk and from there decide what’s best for you.

You can choose to have one or multiple sessions. Past life can take one session. Anxiety and weight loss usually take more than one session, because it’s important to get to the root cause and resolve it.

What are your specialties?

My practice focuses on anxiety relief, weight loss, past lives, and spirit release.

Are you a counselor?

No. I am a hypnotherapist who has been certified in various techniques used by counselors (e.g., age regression).

I adhere to the Code of Ethics of the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH), the oldest and largest organization (over 18,000 members) of nonclinical hypnotists from all over the world (80 countries).

What are your qualifications?

I am board certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists, and I’m also certified to teach people to become hypnotists.

I am a Reiki Master, and I hold a Ph.D. in biology. My other credentials are listed in the About page.

Are you available to speak to groups?

Yes! I’ve always enjoyed speaking before people, and my teaching experience has given me lots of practice.

What do you do to relax?

I meditate, cook, read mysteries, and enjoy nature. And when that doesn’t work, I do self-hypnosis!
