Here’s a surprise: hypnosis is a natural state of mind. Have you ever daydreamed?
Sitting in your seat, listening to a talk… your mind is a thousand miles away.
Dreaming of that vacation… you’re smelling the salt air, feeling the sand between your toes, hearing the waves, watching the clouds roll through that blue sky.
Guess what? When you do this, you’re in a light stage of hypnosis, which is where I do most of my work.
What to fix and how to fix it…
Feeling stuck or blockages prevent many people from fully enjoying life. These blockages can be rooted in one or more of the mental, physical, emotional, or spiritual planes, making blockages so difficult to remove with traditional therapies.
Hypnosis accesses the subconscious, giving access to these planes, revealing information that you were consciously unaware of.
Do you get upset easily and don’t know why? Your subconscious can take you back to the real or root cause. Do you have persistent, unusual physical issues? The subconscious may have an answer.
A past life can give you new information about relationships or challenges you face in this life. There may be spiritual reasons you feel stressed or not good enough. Spirits can certainly load their baggage onto you and need to be released.
Whatever your issue, the answers lie within you.
Listening closely to your story helps me to gauge how to proceed.
Since each client’s issue is unique, sessions are highly personalized. During the session, you are kept in a light hypnotic state like daydreaming, and I ask you to use your imagination.
Clients often can’t believe what comes out of their mouths! That is one of your past lives or a spirit talking. Once these are acknowledged and released, you feel lighter as that energy is gone.
The new information you receive is so personal and answers so many of your concerns that you feel more focused and more content.

At your first appointment, we’ll decide if you need one or more sessions, and we’ll actually begin the process that day.

Why I became a hypnotherapist…
Years ago, I used hypnosis during a very stressful divorce, and it was a life saver.

When I’m not doing hypnotherapy…
I may be reading, gardening, or cooking. I cook about 90% of my meals from scratch, focusing on plant-based recipes like African stew, one of my favorites.
Of course, I’ve made many mistakes over the years, and one of the most memorable was a faux coconut cream pie that uses yellow squash instead of coconut. My mistake? I switched the amounts of sugar and salt. It was such a salty concoction that no one could eat it, not even the dog!
